Kimerud Hillside Aged Gin 42%
Hillside gin is built on our trademark Kimerud gin. Hillside Aged Gin is a double cask gin distilled in the same way as a London Dry Gin would be.
The gin has been stored in oak barrels, old sherry barrels and fine French oak barrels for a total of 6 months, all of which have also contained our Håvaldsen Aquavit which gives this its characteristics.
KIMERUD Hilside Aged Gin takes the best flavors and aromas from KIMERUD Gin and HÅVALDSEN Aquavit, and also some sweetness from the sherry, the delicate brown sugar and vanilla from the French oak barrels.
This provides a very complex and elegant gin that can be used both as a digestive or in different cocktails including gin tonics. Another tip is to serve this gin with ginger beer and ice.
Built on the award winning Kimerud Gin, we introduce a double cask gin “Kimerud Hillside Aged Gin”.
The gin has been stored in various oak barrels, old sherry barrels and fine French oak barrels for a total of 6 months (3 month in each barrel), all of which have contained Håvaldsen Aquavit.
Kimerud Hilside Aged Gin takes the best flavors and aromas from Kimerud Gin and Håvaldsen Aquavit, and also some sweetness from the sherry, the delicate brown sugar and vanilla from the French oak.
This provides a very complex and elegant gin that can be used both as digestive or in different cocktails including gin tonics. After distillation only pure mountain water is added before we store it into the barrels.
